So, one of the outlets in my bedroom has just died on me out of nowhere. This outlet has been problematic before; about a year ago, when I was working in the bedroom and needed to cut the power, I flipped the breaker labeled "bedroom" and noticed that the other outlets turned off, but this troublesome one stayed live. I even tried flipping every breaker on the panel since the labels were super confusing and some were just labeled "???". Surprisingly, even with all breakers switched off, that outlet still had power.
Now, I'm in a situation where it won't turn on at all when I need it to. It doesn't seem tied to any breaker at all. I'm totally stuck on how to troubleshoot this. Can I even fix this myself?
