I recently adjusted the BMS cut-off voltage from 30V to 29.2V, and I've noticed a significant decline in the battery percentage, dropping from 98% down to 44%. Is this something I should be concerned about, or will it correct itself once the battery is fully charged?

What type of BMS are you using? A lot of BMS units aren't great at tracking state of charge (SOC). Some even have issues resetting to 100%. If your battery is LiFePO4, you really shouldn't charge it above 28V. You might want to consider that when looking at your settings.
I’m using a JBD, and I think my inverter is set to charge at 28V, but I changed the cutoff to 29.2V because it was incorrect.
