I was just sitting at my desk when my Milwaukee M12 Rotary tool (model 2525-20) turned its LED light on all by itself, even though the power switch was off and no one was touching it. I had to turn the tool on and then back off to get the LED light to turn off. The battery is fully charged. I'm curious if anyone knows why this happened and if I should be taking the battery out when I'm not using it?

It sounds weird! But I’ve noticed my M12 drill turns its light on randomly sometimes if I walk by it. I figured it might be something to do with our body's electric conductivity interacting with the tool. I’m not an expert or anything, but it seems possible! Just a thought.
That's an interesting idea! I wonder how many tools are sensitive like that.
