I recently had my driveway lift attempted using polyurethane foam, but it didn't work. The company drilled holes and pumped foam underneath, but after trying, they told me it wouldn't lift and charged me $1,500. I'm puzzled about why the foam didn't do its job. Can anyone help me understand this?

It sounds like the issue could be with the base beneath your driveway. If the soil or base isn't stable enough, the foam might have compressed it instead of lifting the concrete. That's a common problem when the compaction wasn't done right initially.

Wouldn't the driveway eventually rise after the foam compresses though?
