Lately, I've been enjoying my cherry tomatoes from the garden, but I've noticed that they have a strange, fishy flavor that I absolutely can't stand – I really dislike fish! This has been going on for about a week or two now. Interestingly, my larger tomatoes don't have this fishy taste. Has anyone else experienced this issue with their cherry tomatoes?

I've had the same issue with some varieties of tomatoes. My family members have complained about this too, especially with the Black Cherry type. It seems to happen with the first ripe ones when the weather is still warming up. You might want to give them another chance because they usually taste better later on in the season!
Each tomato variety brings something different to the table. I once grew these cute little yellow pear-shaped tomatoes that turned out mealy and not so great, so I stopped growing them. It’s all about finding what works for you and what tastes good!
If you're dealing with blight or super humid weather, that could definitely affect the flavor. I’ve noticed that when my plants are stressed, the taste can change. Some dressings or ingredients can also enhance certain flavors, like you described with your favorite garlic dressing. Just keep an eye on your plants!
Yeah, humidity can be a killer for taste. I’d suggest checking the plants for any signs of stress or disease.

That's interesting! I usually find that my tomatoes taste better once the weather is more consistent. Have you tried any new watering techniques?
