Why Do My Peas Have White Flowers Instead of Pods?

Hey folks! I planted some peas back in March, but instead of getting the pea pods I expected, I'm just seeing a bunch of white flowers. Is this normal for peas, or am I doing something wrong?

Actually, it's pretty normal! Peas flower before they produce pods, so those white flowers are a good sign. They're part of the natural progression. Don't worry too much about the flowers unless they start to dry up without forming pods. Just be patient!

Thanks for clarifying! I was worried after reading about plants bolting. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't messing anything up!
