I've been using my Dewalt 20V pole saw, and it works perfectly when the head is low to the ground. However, once I lift it to cut overhead branches, it stalls out. I've checked, and there's enough oil in it. Does anyone know what might be causing this issue and how I can fix it?

I faced a similar issue with my pole saw. I actually had to take mine apart to diagnose the problem. There’s a thin wire running through the aluminum extensions, and mine got frayed at some rivets. It was a bit tricky to fix, so you might want to check if yours has the same issue. As a quick test, try running it without any extensions. If it works fine that way, you may need to look closely at those connections!
Have you tried loosening the chain? Sometimes the chain can be too tight, and that can cause it to stall when lifted. It's a simple fix that might solve your problem!
