I'm facing an issue with my kitchen tap where it takes an unusually long time to get hot water—around 20 minutes! This only happens with the kitchen tap; all other taps and the shower in my house heat up almost instantly. Interestingly, if I run the kitchen tap alongside another hot tap, it delivers hot water quickly, just like the others. Does anyone know why this might be happening and how I can fix it? Thanks for the help!

Do you happen to have a tankless water heater? That could explain the delay if it's trying to heat water on demand. But since you mentioned having a gas water tank, I’d say it’s likely just an issue with that specific tap.
You might want to check if there's a water-saving device in your kitchen tap that could be slowing things down. Also, keep an eye on the aerator; if it's clogged or there's lime buildup, that could definitely impact water flow. It's a common issue!
Makes sense! If the water flow is fine elsewhere, it could be just a blockage at the tap. I’d check that aerator first!

Nope, it's definitely a gas water tank. So it sounds like a tap issue then?
