My roommate adores her lemon tree because it has a lovely lemon scent, but to me, it smells like sheep poop left in the sun! I'm really baffled by this. Is there something wrong with me? Could it be a gene, similar to the cilantro taste issue?

It's possible that a recent bout of COVID might be messing with your sense of smell. Some people notice changes in how things smell or taste after being infected. Could this be what's going on for you?

I've had COVID three times, so if this is my worst symptom, I think I can live with it! But I might need to sneakily uproot that tree when my roommate isn't looking ?.
