Why Don’t We Have Indoor Hoses for Watering Plants?

I have a ton of plants in my apartment and on both of my balconies. For the balconies, I use an extendable garden hose, which works perfectly. However, indoors, I've been struggling because I have to use various sizes of watering cans to fit all my different pots, and it takes forever! I tried using the outdoor hose inside, but it drips everywhere and the pressure is way too intense. Reducing the pressure just makes it drip more, which isn't ideal for my flat. I looked for an indoor hose option, but it seems like there aren't any available. I'm curious if anyone has tips for this situation or knows why indoor hoses don't exist.

Why not just use the same watering can for all your pots? It could save you time instead of switching between sizes! Just a thought.

You could consider getting one of those landscape sprayers from a home improvement store. They usually hold around 2 gallons, and if you don't pump it too much, it should work like a watering can. It might just be perfect for your indoor plants!

You can actually get an adapter to connect a hose to your sink, which could help you out a bit. Just be mindful of the pressure though; you might need a pressure regulator to avoid it spraying everywhere!

That sounds great, but I don’t have a water outlet on my balcony! I already use the adapter on my sink to power my hose. It works for normal hoses, but I really need something smaller.

Instead of just wishing for an indoor hose, why not create one yourself? You could make a prototype and possibly make millions from it! Just think about all those happy, watered plants. ✨
