I've been binge-watching 'Garden Rescue' for fresh ideas for my garden, but I noticed that Flo and Chris have never actually competed against each other. I only found full seasons 9 and 10 on BBC iPlayer. Did Flo and Chris face off in earlier seasons, or is there another reason this hasn't happened? I'm curious if geography plays a role in this.

Yeah, I get what you mean! I also noticed that the match-ups mostly feature Chris and Lee or Charlie and Lee. It seems like they shy away from pairing Flo and Chris together, which is kind of odd since I often find myself critiquing Flo's style as well. I think there’s just a mixture of personalities and maybe production decisions that led to that dynamic. It's interesting how much their styles vary!
In the early seasons of 'Garden Rescue,' it was actually Charlie Dimmock alongside the Rich brothers, Harry and David. As the show progressed, Charlie stepped back and they started rotating different designers. Those earlier episodes were pretty classic since Charlie often outshined the brothers with her eco-friendly ideas, adapting her designs for a more suburban feel. They learned a lot from her, which helped them improve over time. If you get a chance to watch those earlier seasons, they’re definitely worth it!
