I'm having trouble with my Dewalt electric mower, model DCMWP233U2. When I try to start it, the battery lights blink red, and I'm not sure what's going on. I've checked the deadman switch on the handle, and that's not the issue. I've seen posts that suggest the mower might need a complete circuit replacement for this problem. Is there a known error related to the blinking red lights? I reached out to Dewalt support, but it looks like my mower isn't eligible for online repair. I'm starting to think about purchasing a different mower, even though it's still under warranty. Are there any other Dewalt electric mowers that are highly recommended? I really liked this one when it was working!

Did you ever get this issue resolved and if so, what was the problem?
I had a similar issue with my DCMWSP255 last year, just outside the warranty. Dewalt suggested I bring it in for repairs, but the cost seemed too high, so I went for the new SCMWSP700 instead. It's been great so far! You might want to check if Dewalt offers a repair option for your model before deciding to buy a new one!
It sounds like that model had a few hiccups! Have you checked your batteries? Sometimes they're the culprit. Try using them in other tools to confirm they're good. If they work fine, then the mower might have another issue. Good luck!
Yeah, the batteries work in our blower. So not the batteries!

Yeah. Dewalt sent us a label to send it to a repair center, so I think I’ll see if they give a repair cost first. Let me know how the 60V works out for you!
