Why Is My Dryer Making a Loud Noise?

I'm having trouble with my dryer making a loud noise that lasts for 30-40 seconds. This noise doesn't start at the beginning of the cycle but returns consistently along with vibrations. It seems to be coming from the bottom back of the machine near the condenser, opposite the fan wheel. I've already checked the idler pulley, drive belt, motor, front support wheels, and fan wheel—everything appears fine, and the drive belt isn't loose. I've also cleaned all the lint from the fan wheel, filter, heater, and the back of the drum. Has anyone else experienced this? I can't upload a video here, but I've linked it to another post.

It sounds like something might be rubbing against the textured surface of the drum. You know, it kind of gives off the vibe of a card in bike spokes. Could be worth checking that out!

Yeah, I thought it was the drive belt too at first, but it looks fine. The vibrations seem strongest behind the condenser.

Is your dryer a heat pump? If so, it could be the compressor making that noise. Make sure the condenser coil is clean too!

Yes, it's a heat pump! I cleaned the filter and the front of the condenser coil, but it seems like I might have to remove the drum to clean the rest. I really hope not since the compressor is in the front right corner, opposite the noise.
