I've been struggling to keep my English Ivy alive, and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I often see posts where people are trying to get rid of theirs, but mine just shrivels up like it's on a mission! Should I be keeping the soil moist, or is it better to let it dry between waterings? And does it thrive on humidity? Any advice would really help!

It sounds like you're dealing with a tough situation! My boss and I faced the same problem with our English Ivies. They can be pretty finicky. Are you trying to grow yours indoors? That can be a real issue since they usually need a lot more light than most homes provide. Deep shade outside is still brighter than what you'll get indoors. Also, keep an eye out for spider mites; they love these plants and will usually leave webs at the base of the leaves.

Yeah, I'm in a basement apartment and I do have grow lights in the corners, but that might not be enough. I haven't seen any webs yet, though. Should I move it outdoors? Will I need to bring it back inside in the winter since I'm on the East Coast?
