I put some refrigerated groceries in my fridge about 6 hours ago, and I'm concerned because the temperature hasn't gone below 40°F yet. I have it set to 33°F, but it seems to be stuck between 43°F and 44°F. The groceries include a half gallon of milk and some pork chops, both of which were refrigerated when I bought them. I haven't opened the fridge during this time, and I've tested the temperatures using a stainless steel cup to ensure accuracy. Is this normal, or should I be worried about my fridge?

Shooting for a fridge setting of around 37°F is usually safe. Since yours is set to 33°F and still not cooling properly, you might want to check the condensation drain line and make sure it's clean. Sometimes that can cause cooling issues too.
Sounds like your fridge might be having some issues if it can't maintain proper temperature. When was it last checked? You should definitely consider getting it evaluated.
If it's a brand new fridge and you're already having issues, it could be faulty. Make sure you're not blocking the cold air vents, and consider contacting the manufacturer or the store you bought it from. You shouldn't have to deal with this kind of problem right away.

That sounds like a good idea! I might just need to clean it out to solve the problem.
