Why is my Moen kitchen faucet running with low pressure?

I've got a Moen single-handle kitchen faucet that has started to lose pressure over time. Recently, I cleaned the aerator with CLR, which temporarily fixed the issue, but soon the low pressure returned. I've already cleaned the aerator and replaced the cartridge, but the water pressure is still weak for both hot and cold. It's not a house-wide issue since all my other faucets work fine. The plumbing in my house is PEX, and the sink uses braided steel and PVC. Any suggestions on where else to look for the problem?

I had a similar issue with my Moen faucet, and it turned out to be a kink in the supply line. Mine is a pullout type, and the weight was pinching the line. I adjusted the weight and reshaped the line, and it worked perfectly after that! Definitely check if there’s any obstruction in the line.

I once faced the same problem, and it was just a tiny piece of plastic debris clogging the intake line. I had to carefully pull it out with needle nose pliers. It’s a simple fix if you run into something like that!

Make sure to check if your faucet has a diverter that might need to be cleaned or replaced. Sometimes that can contribute to low water flow. Also, don’t forget to inspect the filters at the hot and cold connections to your home’s water supply—they can get clogged too!
