I recently moved into a house built in 1950, and I've noticed that one of the three upstairs bedrooms isn't getting any cool air from the AC. The other two rooms are nice and comfortable, but the problem room is just a little bit breezy in the mornings. I'm curious about what could be causing this and what I can do to fix it. Any advice?

It sounds like your ductwork might be a big factor, especially in older houses like yours. I had a similar situation where the ducts were good for heating but too small for the cooler air from the AC. I ended up installing a separate evaporator unit for the upstairs, and that did the trick! You might want to consider that too if the airflow issue continues.
Definitely check the seals on your ductwork. In my 1950 house, I found cracked mastic and air escaping at the joints. Plus, some return vents weren't even hooked up, which really affected airflow. An HVAC pro could help diagnose if anything is blocked or disconnected in the ducts.
A few things to check: First, make sure the AC registers are fully open — they often have levers and can get closed accidentally. Also, if you're comfortable going into the attic, look for any obvious problems with the ducting. Damper settings could be off too; they control airflow for each room and can cause uneven cooling.
