Why Isn’t My Solar Setup Producing Any Electricity?

Hey everyone! I've recently installed 550W Axitec solar panels and hooked up to 10 of them with my inverter. I'm seeing the voltage rise, but the current is mostly at zero. Occasionally, I get brief readings of around 0.1 to 10 watts, but they drop back to zero almost instantly. I even tried adding another line in parallel after getting some advice, but that hasn't helped either. I'm unsure where the issue lies, so any guidance would be super helpful!

It looks like your inverter might just be in standby mode. Try waking it up! That could be why you're not seeing any current. Check the settings to make sure everything's turned on properly.

Also, what kind of inverter do you have? Is it meant for batteries or is it grid-tied? Knowing that can help identify the problem better. If nothing's pulling current, then there’s no energy flow. Try putting a load on the system!

You're right about needing a load! Current is drawn from the setup, so make sure something is connected to draw the power. Otherwise, it won’t produce any output.

Are you sure everything is powered up? Sometimes they need to be turned on manually. If you haven't done that, give it a shot!

Thanks! I’ll check that. It feels like I might be missing a simple step.
