Why won’t my new Milwaukee saw cut square?

I've recently bought two Milwaukee rear handle saws (model 2930-20) from Home Depot, and I'm having the same issue with both. The shoe seems misaligned and isn't squared to the blade, and I can't adjust it correctly with the screw on the bottom. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

It sounds like you could possibly have a manufacturing issue with the saws. If that's the case, definitely reach out to customer support for a possible replacement.

Just a thought: have you practiced your cutting technique? Sometimes proper technique can make a big difference in cuts appearing square.

It might seem like user error, but it sounds like you've checked the adjustments. Have you tried using the bevel adjustment lever at the front? It might help you square it up.
