Will 2″ Thick Concrete Blocks Support a Small Car in a Parking Area?

I'm considering using 2" thick concrete blocks as pavers for my parking area. Does anyone know if these will be strong enough to support the weight of a small car? Any advice on installation or prep that I should keep in mind?

Yes, those pavers can definitely hold a small car, but the ground needs to be well-prepped beforehand to handle the weight. Make sure you have a solid base under them.

I'd be cautious with that choice. While they might hold the weight, there’s a risk they could crack over time. Think about using crush and run gravel or asphalt millings instead; those might give you a better long-term solution.

I’m actually planning on using solid 2x8x16 concrete blocks on firm ground where I usually park. Do you really think I should still avoid this setup?

Consider using permeable pavers if you're looking for something eco-friendly! They might help with drainage too.
