I'm thinking about dyeing my Milwaukee power tools, like my impact driver, combi drill, multi-tool, and SDS, since I've only had them for about 4 months. I feel like it would look awesome, especially since my firm is starting to acquire more Milwaukee tools. However, I'm concerned about whether customizing them like this might affect my warranty. Anyone know if dyeing these tools, particularly the SDS or multi-tool, would void the warranty?

If you take them apart and reassemble them correctly, it shouldn't technically void the warranty, but good luck getting any support from Milwaukee after that. They can be pretty strict about modifications!
Yeah, dyeing them definitely voids the warranty. Manufacturers usually won't cover any issues if the tools have been modified in any way, so be careful if you’re planning to do that!
For sure, it voids the warranty. But just a heads up, even if you didn't dye them, getting warranty service from Milwaukee can be a hassle anyway. Just make sure to keep everything intact if you want any hope of claiming warranty down the line.
