Will My Cobra Concrete Anchors Hold Up with Treated Wood?

Hey everyone! I recently used Cobra stainless steel concrete anchors to secure some treated wood 2x4s to outdoor concrete. I added a spacer to keep the wood elevated from the concrete. My area in Southern California generally has dry weather, but it does get wet occasionally. The anchors I used appear to be zinc-plated. I'm worried about potential corrosion—do you think these anchors will last for several years? Also, I've looked into Red Head anchors which seem to have similar corrosion resistance. Am I good to go with the Cobra anchors? Thanks for the help!

Zinc coatings are sacrificial, meaning they wear down over time to protect the metal beneath. The lifespan of the coating can depend on various factors, including your specific installation. But in a mostly dry environment, you might actually get several years out of your anchors before they start to fail. Just keep an eye on them for any signs of rust, especially if your area gets wet.

Thanks for the info! So as long as the wood stays mostly dry, I should be okay for a while? I'm really trying to find the best anchors for treated wood.
