Will my plant survive after losing a cotyledon?

I accidentally broke one of the cotyledons (the seed leaves) off my plant, but its true leaves are just starting to come out and they're still really tiny. I'm worried about whether my plant will die since one of its cotyledons is still intact. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Don't stress too much! Your plant should still be alright. While it's true that having both cotyledons is important for most annuals, it can still grow with just one. Just keep an eye on it as it might grow a bit slower, but there's a good chance it will catch up later on!

Typically, when a plant loses parts early on, it may focus its energy on growing even stronger leaves later. Since environmental factors and the type of plant matter too, just keep nurturing it, and it should be okay!

Yep, it’s a bean plant! That's one tough little guy, so it should bounce back just fine.

You’re in good shape! Losing a cotyledon can slow things down, especially in annual plants, but it's not a death sentence. Since it's a seedling, it might take a bit longer to reach full size, but it should still thrive. Just make sure you're giving it the right care!

Exactly! With proper care, it might surprise you by catching up. Just keep the watering and light conditions right!
