Will My Plants Survive in a Fish Tank?

I recently ordered a plant and received a bunch of cuttings as a bonus, which I wasn't really prepared for. I have limited space since I rent a room in a shared house, but my best grow light is over my fish tank, so I'm considering using it to keep the plants. I'm hoping the plants can thrive that way. Do you think they can actually grow well with their roots submerged and leaves above water, like monstera or pothos? Here's the list of plants I have: Heart leaf philodendron, Snow Queen, Pink vein maranta, Lemon lime maranta, Black vein maranta, a regular maranta, Micans, and Batik syngonium. Right now, I've got them tucked away in a corner trying to root, but I want to plan for their long-term care if needed.

The pothos and philodendron should do just fine in your fish tank! I've seen lots of people use them successfully. I haven't tried the maranta varieties myself, but they're often used in riparium setups, so you might have some luck there too. Just keep an eye on them as they grow!

Just to clarify, is the Snow Queen a pothos? I saw it labeled that way but wasn’t 100% sure.
