My son decided to make a solution of hand soap and water and ended up spraying all of my potted plants outside! I'm worried about the impact. I've rinsed them all down with tap water to try to wash off the soap. Do you think they'll survive this?

They'll probably be just fine! I've sprayed all kinds of plants with soapy water to tackle aphids, and they usually come out unscathed. Just keep an eye on them!

Actually, he might have helped you out if there were any aphids hanging around that you didn’t notice. Just keep watering them with fresh water to wash away any residue!
You should be in the clear! Just make sure to continue watering with fresh water. If you’re worried, there are some horticultural soaps out there that are designed for this kind of thing, without any additives.
I do similar things for my pets; plants should be okay!
