I'm trying to prepare a concrete floor for tile installation, but I'm stuck with some really old linoleum glue that's been there for about 50 years. I've already tried using hot water, steam, and muriatic acid, but none of those methods have been very effective. What are some other options I can explore to get this glue off?

If you're open to trying something heavier duty, a concrete grinder can really take care of that stubborn glue. Just make sure you're ready for some dust, but it definitely works!
Using a floor scraper is usually a solid approach, but if you've already softened the glue, it might make things a bit tricky. Just keep at it and see if a bit of elbow grease helps!
My local Menards has power floor scrapers that you can rent, which worked wonders for me! They can really cut down on the time it takes, plus they're designed for this sort of job.
