Can I Grow Loofah in a Pot Without It Taking Over My Patio?

I've been excited to try growing from seeds, so I picked up some jalapeno and loofah seeds. However, I didn't research how much space loofah plants actually need. Is it feasible to grow a loofah in a 15x15 fenced patio pot without it taking over the whole area? If yes, what are some good trellis ideas?

You'll want a pretty big pot for loofah—at least 20-24 inches wide, which is about 25 gallons. You can definitely grow it along your fence railing, but keep in mind it might outgrow your patio if you don't keep an eye on those vines. Also, how much sunlight does your patio get? Loofahs really love their sunshine, so that would be important to know!
