I've been thinking about installing carpet tiles and I'm curious if anyone here has experience with them. Where did you install them? How do they hold up over time? Do the seams blend in well, or are they really noticeable? And honestly, do they look cheap? I'm hoping to get some insights before making a decision!

I've installed carpet tiles in a commercial space, and they can actually look pretty decent, but it depends on the quality. They're typically more durable and designed for high-traffic areas. Just keep in mind, the seams are usually visible, so they won’t disappear completely. However, if you choose a style that has a nice pattern, it can help distract from the seams. They're definitely a practical choice for places that might need some tile replacements!
Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend going for permanent carpet options. Carpet tiles are easier to manage and clean. If spills happen, you can just swap out a tile without redoing the whole thing. Just make sure to get the same type and lot to avoid color mismatches!
