I have some Christmas poinsettias that were thriving, including one I've had for two years. Recently, I decided to repot them and removed their wrappers, but now they seem to be dying. The roots felt really dry, and I'm worried if that means they're beyond saving. The leaves have started to dry up and fall off, and after pruning, they're left with no leaves at all. I'm feeling really sad about this! Is there any way to help them? Should I use fertilizer?

Yeah, I agree with checking the soil moisture! Poinsettias need that perfect balance. If the roots are dry, try giving them a little water but don’t overdo it. Just keep an eye on the stems—if they’re healthy, your plant might bounce back. Keep us updated with pictures!
First off, don't lose hope just yet! Make sure the soil isn't too wet or too dry—poinsettias are picky that way. As long as the stem is still firm and green and it's in a good spot with enough sunlight, it might just surprise you and resprout! Good luck!
