How can I find the source of a leak in my bathroom wall?

A few months ago, I noticed a wet patch on the wall between my shower and vanity. The spot hasn't grown larger over time, but it's still damp to the touch, leading me to think the moisture is coming from inside the wall. I've tried covering it with a towel for a couple of weeks, but that didn't help. What steps can I take to track down this leak?

It seems like there could be a leak in the wall or potentially on the other side of it. A borehole inspection camera could help you check without having to make a big hole - usually costs around $40. That might be a good first step to identify the source.

It looks like the enclosure might be leaking. I'd recommend checking the caulking in the corner of the shower first. If that's still solid, you might want to inspect other possibilities. Did you redo the caulk recently?
