I've recently started collecting plants and I'm on the lookout for pests. Whenever I spot something on my plants, I often wonder if it's just a speck of dirt. I've attached a picture in the comments for reference. It's so small that I can barely tell if it's moving. Are pests really that tiny?

Hey there! It's totally normal to be unsure about those tiny specks. If you see something that looks like it could be a pest, it's always good to check. A lot of common pests like thrips can be super small but usually, you'll spot them moving around if they're there. Keep an eye out, and if you’re really not sure, wipe it off gently and see if it comes back!
I totally get your worry! Some pests can indeed be microscopic. If you can zoom in and see details on your phone, that’s a great start! Just remember, cleaning your plants from time to time is a good habit to keep pests in check.
LOL, I feel you! I've had my moments staring at what I thought was dirt. Just keep observing for any signs of movement or change in your plant's health. You're doing great!
