I just got a Bearpaw plant and I've read that it needs around 6 hours of sunlight daily. However, my school schedule keeps me out from 8 AM until about 5 PM, which would mean my plant gets around 10 hours of light. I'm worried this might be too much for it! Can anyone share their experiences or advice on how to ensure my plant thrives without risking sunburn?

Actually, Bearpaw plants love sunlight! They can handle quite a bit of it. Just make sure you're introducing them to bright light a little at a time. If you go from low light to lots of sun suddenly, they might end up getting sunburned.
I've got my Bearpaw sitting by a southern window, plus I use grow lights that I turn on from around 7 AM to 11 PM. They're thriving with that much light! Just be cautious—if you’re talking about direct outdoor sunlight, make sure to acclimate your plant gradually to avoid stressing it out. Generally, most succulents do really well with bright light without burning if you manage it correctly.
I agree, but try to ramp up the sunlight gradually! I've had mine in full sun from around 2 PM until sunset for the summer, and while it gets a bit yellowish, it’s not too bad. Pay attention to how it looks and adjust if necessary.
