Hey everyone! I'm wondering if I should go ahead and plant these strawberry seeds I have, even though it's already early to mid-May. I've been putting it off for a while and I'm a bit anxious about whether it's too late to start them. Can I still plant them now, or would I be better off waiting until next year?

You might want to hold off actually. Strawberry seeds typically need cold stratification, which means they should either be kept in the fridge for about 40 days or exposed to cold weather. If you haven't done that, it might be worth waiting until next year. A great method I've found is Winter Sowing; it’s almost foolproof! Good luck!
I'd say go for it! They can still grow this year, so there's no harm in planting them now and seeing how it goes.
Hmm, I'm a bit confused now. Should I keep the pot in the fridge until it sprouts? My room can be pretty cold sometimes, but summer is coming. How long should I wait? I really want to grow strawberries, but I don’t want to mess it up. I don’t mind waiting, though – I already have a blackberry garden about to burst with juicy fruit!
