I recently put in a new door, but I'm facing a problem: it won't shut because the frame at the bottom isn't squared. There's about a quarter to half an inch of space that keeps it from closing fully. I'm considering getting a hydraulic kit from Harbor Freight to try to adjust it, but I'm unsure if that's the best option. Any advice?

Have you noticed if the temperature drastically changed since you installed it? I found that my basement door gets troublesome during colder months due to frame shifting. Temperature fluctuations can mess with how well doors close.
You might want to try trimming the new door instead of going for a hydraulic kit. If the old door fit well in the space, trimming this one and repainting could solve the issue easily! Usually, a little adjustment goes a long way.
