Hey everyone! I'm looking for some advice on how to tackle a storage issue in my newly purchased small house. It's about 1300 sqft, but it feels even smaller! There are two levels with vaulted ceilings, and while I have a couple of small storage spaces like a pantry and a closet, it's just not enough for all our stuff—clothes, books, and other items. We don't have a garage or extra rooms to work with either. I've even thought about using the vaulted ceilings for storage, but I'm worried it won't look good or be practical. There's also very little wall space available due to windows and doors. I'd love to hear how others have managed similar situations!

You might want to consider tall shelving units for the spaces you do have. Adding storage bins can help organize items neatly. Even look into creating cutouts in interior walls for built-in shelves, especially for shoes. Also, you could use furniture like bookcases and sideboards that double as storage. Just remember that you can place furniture in front of outlets if it’s not anchored to the wall!
Have you considered fitted wardrobes? They’re super popular in the UK and can turn an entire wall into closet space. It might be a good fit for those vaulted ceilings if you adapt it well!
