What’s the Best Way to Shield My Plants from Direct Sunlight on My Balcony?

Hey everyone! I've got a balcony that faces south and it gets direct sunlight all day long with no shade at all. I'm worried that some of my plants might get scorched during the peak hours. I'm looking for suggestions on barriers or materials, like screens or plastic, that could help filter the sunlight when it gets too intense. I haven't had much luck finding the right keywords online, so any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks!

You might want to consider using shade cloth! It’s effective for blocking out some sunlight without cutting off the air circulation for your plants.
