Why Are My Lemon Plant’s New Leaves Turning Yellow?

I've noticed that the new leaves on my self-grown lemon plant aren't as vibrant green as the older ones. What could be causing this, and what steps can I take to improve the color and health of the new growth?

It sounds like your lemon plant might be lacking nitrogen. To fix this, try using a slow-release fertilizer with a higher nitrogen number, like something in the 6-8-6 range. Just add it as you water, and it should help green up those leaves!
